Dead On Arrival Club Launch Event

The Club Launch Event is now open for RSVP.  If you plan on attending the event please be sure to read the details and fill out the RSVP form.  RSVP’s should be filled out no later then Monday the 22nd of March to allow us ample time to prepare.  If you are bringing friends that aren’t part of the club please be sure to let us know in the form.  If you are late with your RSVP, that’s ok but please be sure to let us know as soon as possible wether or not you are going to make it.  If you have to cancel an RSVP please be sure to let the organizers know at theboss@war-doa.com

When:  April 4th, 2010 starting at 12:00 till the last man standing

Where:  Njutangers Folkets Huset –  Sundsättersvägen 4, 825 93 NJUTÅNGER (MAP)

What:  The April 4th club launch event is a simple “get together” event and we will not be running a formal tournament.  We will however supply necessary gaming tables and a place to game.  We will likely host some grudge matches and campaign matches, but for the most part this is an “open event” intended for everyone to meet and get to know each other as we play some games of Warhammer.

What You Need:

  1. 1.       Bring lunch money as during the launch period we will be ordering food for everyone from a local place in Hudiksvall (most likely Pizza place).
  2. 2.       Bring your miniatures.  We recommend having at least a 1000 point Warhammer 40k army.  Warhammer Fantasy is also an option but as it stands the large majority of players in the club play 40k, so if you plan on playing fantasy be sure to talk to some other members to ensure you have at least one opponent who is also bringing fantasy miniatures.  Most battles will be between 1000-2000 points.
  3. 3.       Bring Terrain:  If you have some, bring some. We will be providing terrain as well but will likely come up short depending on how many players show up.  If you have gaming tables we would appreciate you bringing those as well.
  4. 4.       50kr entry fee.  This entry fee will cover the snacks and sodas the club will purchase and provide for everyone in the tournament as well as cover additional costs for the event.

Merchandise Pre-Order:  If you would like to purchase anything  from the shop be sure to let us know.  If you pre-order your shipping will be free and your merchandise available at the event for pick up.
